Overview

Each weapon type is able to be leveled up. Some weapons can be modified using the Salvage Matrix.

Types

  • Accelerated - Manufactured weapons that grant +10% Nano Proc Chance and 5% Life and Shield Steal.
  • CDC - Manufactured weapons +10% Nano Proc Chance and 10% Armor Durability Damage.
  • EVO - Manufactured weapons reduce incoming damage taken by 5%.
  • FRC - Frontier Custom, the salvaged and modified weapons that come from frontier makers and independent riveters. [1] Scrapworks makes these sorts of weapons.
  • HOT - Manufactured weapons grant an additional 10% Nano Proc Chance and 10% health damage.
  • U-238 - Manufactured weapons have 10% Armor Penetration and 10% increased nano proc chance.
  • VOT - Alien made weapons [2]
  • VBI - Post-modern manmade weapons [2]

Nano-Effects

Weapons are capable of being equipped with different ammunition elements which provide different damages such as:

  • Biological - Slows the movements of enemies by sticking a material to their feet.
  • Corrosive - Covers enemy with corrosive materials that degrade shields and health.
  • Electrical - Which can stun your enemies or disable the HUD of other Ark Hunters.
  • Incendiary - Sets alight to the enemy.
  • Radiation - Breaks shields and makes enemies more susceptible to damage.
  • Syphon - Attaches to enemies and siphons away health.

Rarity

There are six different rarities of weapons, grenades, and shields. The more rare an item, the more functionality is has. Rarity is color coded in the name in the Inventory:

  • Common - White
  • Uncommon - Green
  • Rare - Blue
  • Epic - Purple
  • Legendary - Orange
  • Supreme - Yellow

Synergy

Weapons, grenades, and shields can have synergies listed on them. When enough items of the same synergy are equipped the Ark Hunter gains weapon benefits.

    • [4] 10% chance to refresh EGO power, grenade, spike, and stim cooldowns on kill (Cooldown: 30s)
  • Firewall
    • [1] On shield break, restore health and shields for 5s to surround allies. (Cooldown: 30s)
    • [2] On shield break, repair 1 armor plate. (Cooldown: 30s)
    • [3] On shield break, +20% outgoing healing for 10s. (Cooldown: 30s)
  • Flames of Passion
    • [1] Being hit by an opponent increases your movement speed by 30% for 3 seconds. (Cooldown: 10s)
    • [2] +15% Nano-effect chance
    • [3] +10% Damage and Bug Damage
    • [4] Sets target on fire when hit, causing additional fire damage for 3 seconds. While on fire, target takes increased health damage. The fire may spread to nearby enemies when the target dies (Cooldown: 6s)
  • Going Postal
    • [2] Taking damage reduces EGO power cooldown by 1s (Cooldown: 3s)
    • [3] When shields are down and below 50% health, EGO is disrupted and reload is reduced by 75%
  • Grenadier
    • [1] -10% Recoil
    • [2] -20% Recoil
    • [3] +5% grenade refresh on kill
    • [4] +10% grenade refresh on kill
  • Hallow Point
    • [1] +6.66% Ammo Regen/10 Secs
    • [2] +13% Mag
    • [3] Damaging an enemy will summon an exploding pumpkin (Cooldown: 30s)

  • Hard-boiled
    • [2] +2% refresh self-revive on a kill
  • Heartbreaker
    • [1] On shield break, gain 15% armor penetration for 5s. (Cooldown: 30s)
    • [2] On shield break, gain 10% damage for 5s to surrounding allies. (Cooldown: 30s)
    • [3] On armor break, +20% crit multipler for 10 seconds. (Cooldown: 30 seconds)
    • [4] On enemy "heart break", +2% self-revive.
  • Nano-Executioner

  • Nano-mastery

  • Plate Slicer

  • Wrath of the Omec

  • Wrecker

  • 7th Legion Fury
    • [1] +5% damage for 6 seconds after a full reload
    • [2] +10% damage for 6 seconds after a full reload
    • [3] +5% damage for 6 seconds when your shield breaks
    • [4] +10% damage for 6 seconds when your shield breaks
  • 7th Legion Unity
    • [2] Reduces shield recharge delay by 0.5 seconds
    • [3] Taking damage when your shield is down increases your movement speed by 30% for 3 seconds. Cooldown 10 seconds
